About Matto Meadowbank

We’re a casual neighbourhood pizzeria, following the traditions and artistry of pizza from Naples – the birthplace of pizza. Our name ‘Matto’, translated from Italian means ‘crazy’ and it’s the philosophy that sits right at our heart. 

Known as the ‘Different Pizza’ in Edinburgh, Matto on Cadzow Place was the perfect setting for our first ever Matto Pizzeria with few sitting places for those who want to enjoy the pizza at the moment . Since 2020 our Pizzaiolos have been serving up fresh and different Neapolitan pizza to the people of Meadowbank area.

People loved it so much we couldn’t fit them all in one place, we had to open another so more people can ‘get Matto’.
